My journey began at Bath Spa University where I graduated with a BA Hons Graphic Design Degree. My first 'proper' job was working for an in-house Health, Beauty and Fitness brand, but the job roles which followed uncovered my true passion and skill set.
At BOS Design, Cheltenham, I thrived as an Artworker enjoying every aspect of my role. My skills in image retouching became refined and I grew in confidence with every challenging brief, alongside the print knowledge I began to gain. My role developed into Senior Artworker followed by Head of Artwork where I grew and honed my creative strengths, learnt key management skills, and built strong relationships with my contacts at key brands.
Responsible for the accuracy in file structure and print set up of BOS work, I utilised my passion and pride for precision to ensure that the work the team produced met my and our clients' exacting standards. Although my role was to oversee the Artwork team, I took great pleasure in taking on last minute urgent jobs to relieve the studio of pressure when it became necessary. It was this sheer pleasure which made my decision to become a Freelance Creative Artworker all the more certain.
